program takes too long to start

Needing some advice. I tried uninstalling the game which wouldn't load (Neverwinter). Now I can't redownload, open settings or my games & apps etc. I did a hard restart and unplugged it for a while. Now it takes forever for the xbox to come on and once the
home screen should appear it is blank until I hold the x on the control, pull up the narrator and start moving buttons around. Anyone have any advice? Is it a bad patch? Is there a way to factory reset maybe?

Have you tried a hard reset? If not, try doing one. Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console it helps with so many things.

If you have the game on disc, try cleaning the disc.

factory reset. Next time you get your console to the home screen, go ahead and perform a full factory reset. That will give your console the best shot at a clean start.
