    Hello... I'm new to FSX and am using W10

    I have flown a C172 in real time but on the computer, the Mouse is just too unpredictable.

    Is there a way to program FSX so I can start the engine on the single engine planes with a button on xBox 360?

    ... or are there some functions which must take place at the keyboard and or mouse?

    I hope that this answer will also apply to guiding me in setting up my FSX to that I can reduce the need to use the keyboard and mouse to fly.

    Need activation code for my Microsoft Flight Simulator

    I have the same problem, can install the Deluxe Edition but get an error when I try to activate. I found that are two updates to FSX, SP1 and SP2. SP1 does not fix the activation problem and SP2 will not allow me to even start FSX without an error. Backed
    out SP2 in order to start FSX.

    Here are some ideas:

    System Requirements and Compatibility
    Ensure your system meets the minimum requirements for FSX. Compatibility issues with newer operating systems can also cause problems.

    Check if your hardware meets or exceeds the specifications required for FSX.
    Run FSX in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows (e.g., Windows 7 or XP).

    Administrator Privileges
    FSX may require administrative privileges to run properly.

    Right-click on the FSX executable and select "Run as Administrator."

    Graphics Drivers
    Outdated or incompatible graphics drivers can cause FSX to crash.

    How to activate Flight Sim X on reinstalled windows 7 computer

    Okay, I started the game again and was able to activate it using the product key. The game worked great.

    Then I installed FSX Acceleration and, when the activation screen popped up, there was a small box that asked me to enter the activation key, but no place to type it in. I was able to start FSX again, but not activate the acceleration software.

    Now what?
