    Profile won't receive party or game invites


    I've had an issue for a couple weeks now in that my profile is not receiving party or game invites from other people. I can join games and parties from friends' profiles and I can send party and game invites. When friends send invites I do not receive
    a notification on my screen and there are "no new invitations" when I select the Invitations option from the party tab. I've tried a second account on the xbox and it received both game and party invites from friends without issue.

    So far I have tried the following things with no luck in fixing the problem:

    1. Power cycle the console

    2. Delete the profile, power cycle the console and then download the profile.

    3. Clear the Alternate MAC address

    4. Confirmed my profile is not in do not disturb mode and unchecked and rechecked the notification boxes.

    Please any help is appreciated!

    Update: I even just tried a factory reset on my system and still not receiving invites.

    Are you under a family account? If you are, your account may be restricted from receiving invitations on certain games or at all.

    Have you by chance changed any of your privacy settings on that account recently? If so, then that could affect your chances of receiving invites from others.

    I'm not enrolled in any of the Xbox Insiders stuff so I'm not sure if that's part of the problem or not. It seems to be something with the account. I have received invites on the console using a different account.

    Be sure you have your notifications turned on in settings and your appearing online
