Profile will not download no matter what i try for backwards compatibility

I have been on support multiple times and they have never found the solution to my problem. I am able to play the xbox one games with no problems, but when i try playing xbox 360 games that are backwards compatible i cant "connect to internet" and gives
me an error code even though it works on the regular games and profile. I have tried reset, hard shut down, and everything with internet but nothing works. Please help

After that, I try to play Alan Wake and I still can't connect to live to download my profile. Is the 360 Backward Compatibility broken?

Backwards Compatibility only works for full titles that are available on the backwards compatibility list. Game Demos are not included in the backwards compatibility feature. If you want to try a specific Xbox 360 game out before purchasing and downloading,
you will need to download the demo on an actual Xbox 360 console.

Hey there!

Go ahead and complete a factory reset of the console, but keep your games and apps installed. You can find that option in Settings - All Settings - System - Console Info and Updates - Restore. Make sure to check the Keep Games and Apps option!

I was having this same problem. than I found something that said it may have to do with your Xbox live account. Make sure your most recent credit card is on there and remove all old ones on there..I did this and it worked for mine. Hope you figure it out

 

just did the factory reset and that did not help dont know what else to do

Head into My Games and Apps and highlight a backwards compatible game you've tried to play online, then press Menu on the controller to open up a guide then select “Manage Game” >Saved Data/Reserved space>“Clear reserved space” After you clear that reserved
space try to launch the game again and see if it works.

 

Anyone find a solution? None of these worked for me

Can you please try to go to

Settings > All Settings > System > Storage > Clear local Xbox 360 Storage.

After this try to run the game again.
