Profile Restoration

Hi all, got a question and not having much luck slogging through the search to find an answer.

I want to be able to start games like BattleBlockTheatre and IloMilo over fresh. I know they are among games that have their save data stored in my profile. Will deleting the profile and restoring it wipe out those saves, or are they part of the cloud.
I can always make a temp profile to play on, but then any achievements I missed in first play throughs would be on that, so not my favorite option.

Restoration Exploit

It's not an exploit it's training you skills. In Oblivion you could just create a very weak destruction spell that hit your Stamina and then cast over and over again. you could do a damage spell and then work on healing and destruction at the same time.
Morrowind had the same thing. Be careful you don't over level though. You gain a bunch of levels in Restoration and you level up without any of your offense skills gaining levels and you will have a hard time in the field.

 

Your game saves would be saved on your hard drive. If you go to your settings and storage, you can find the games you want to remove the saves from and delete those save files (they are saved separate from the actual game files). Game saves on the 360 are
not automatically saved to the cloud unless you have them set up to be saved there. If that is the case, you can also access your cloud storage and delete those save files. You don't have to delete your profile and redownload it.

However, depending on the game, some information may be saved on the game's servers. In those cases, you would have to start over on another profile.

 

IloMilo and BattleBlock don't use local gamesaves or I wouldn't have this issue, I could try playing offline, but somehow I don't think they are server based saving. Looking online I believe they are saved as GPD files in my profile, but thinking that way,
these are likely the same files that store achievements, which I seem to recall are also pulled back on restore

 

These, like many arcade games, store the game save data as part of the game download file. You should be able to delete the game from your storage device and download it again, allowing you to create a new game save.
