Profile permission is not allowed on Xbox live

I connected my xbox 360 to the web for the first time and set up a live account for myself, my status is adult and my permissions are all on allowed but when i try to access xbox live on any game it says...

"your profile does not have the permission to access xbox live, you can play as normal but you can't use xbox live features or multiplayer"

I even made a new Xbox live account and tried again and still said the same thing

Can someone please help, I don't know what to do.

You need a gold subscription. Gold is required in order to play online.

I'm sorry you're having issues with your Xbox Live account. In order to play games that are online you will need to pay for an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. If you already have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription and are still running into this issue
then please seek help using the following link: Xbox Support-
https://support.xbox.com If you do not already have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription you can purchase a code for one here in the store: https://www.microsoft.com You can also
purchase the subscription right from your console.
