Profile not uploaded in backward games

Didn't work for me, bought my xbox 2 days ago 1TB version, I Have been trying to play Castlevania SOTN. Same problem can't connect to the network.

I'll have to repost my post i did for gamers who missed it while ago.

 

Try this

#1 do a system restore , choose system restore keep games and apps. This will send you back to the very first time when you are setting up your console!

#2 type in email address of profile you are using

#3 put in your password

# 4 just put in your time zone and other stuff like your setting up console then you will go to dash board try again with a 360 game. BAM it fired up gears of war 3

Now all is working fine. Thanks to MS support team and to Bindroy for the tip.

 

Well it didn't work at first and then I factory reset while keeping games and apps which finally fixed it.

Confirmed. Doing the reset console and keeping games and app fixed it for me.

Please, how do you do the system restore while keeping the games ?

 

Do this.

#1 go to SETTINGS

#2 system , then look for factory restore, 2 opts for reset on your console

Opt #1 hard reset removes all games and apps,

Opt #2 factory reset keep games and apps.

Pick keep all GAMES and APPS then follow this. after screen goes blank your console will restart on its own let it do it cycle do not shutdown. then when you see this follow this.

This will send you back to the very first time when you are setting up your console!

#1 type in email address of profile you are using

#2 put in your password.

#3 set your time zone you live in. follow all directions, You will see a video playing xbox the xbox one, just hit center white glowing button on controller to jump to Main dash-board, Restart a 360 game that's backward compatable like gears of war 3 boom
it fired off. now you should be fully up and running.

 

Oh I needed to do an update to have the option to keep the games. Thank you very much, it worked !

I have had this problem for a week, got a new Xbox one on march 23, it wont download profile when playing 360 games. there is no update that fixes it right now, not my console, nor anyone's console who still is experiencing this issue, I have called tech
support and chatted with the online support so many times I have lost count, and they keep giving me the answer about how somebody somewhere is supposed to be working on it but nobody knows when it will be resolved or what the problem is or why, and nobody
knows anything except every time I talk to them they think I don't know how to properly cloud save games or how I must be giving them inaccurate information, because it isn't supposed to act like that. Well, it is, and it isn't my fault. I want to see a repair
order for it and techs actively working on resolving it. I am tired of their excuses!
