    Profile logging in as guest.


    Recently, I have tried playing Minecraft split screen with my wife. She under her profile and I under mine. When I try to join as player 2, it logs me on as a guest even though I'm signed under my profile. How can we fix this?

    Local multiplayer issue

    Is this second player logged into an Xbox LIVE profile? If not, they are a guest, and guests lose all progress and unlocks upon exit.

    To log into an Xbox LIVE profile, hit the guide button for each controller (the big circular button with the X). Under the Home tab, select Sign In, and select the profile you want.

    Please note you will need to sign in once for EACH controller (Main Profile and Local Profile).

    There is an option on the L4D screen that allows you to log in your guest profile, choose that and you'll be fine.

    Are you trying to log them in as an actual "Guest" or just as another profile you have on the account?

    You must log in to the console with the main profile and a
    guest profile     (or an existing one). Then just start the game and press the menu button on both controllers.

    you should log in with your profile as it's possible that if you start as a guest they'll put you in a random character
