Discus and support profile keeps getting deleted in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My stepkid keeps deleting my profile and his dad's profile off of the xbox.     profile keeps getting deleted


    My stepkid keeps deleting my profile and his dad's profile off of the xbox. Is there any way to keep this from happening? (Besides banning him from the xbox entirely, which would be my first choice if he wasn't my STEPkid).

    Status Code 80072741

    I have been getting status code 80072741 a lot recently and I have deleted my cache many times and deleted my profile and recovered it many times and power cycled my modem many times yet it still keeps coming up and I'm getting very pissed about it

    Deleting downloaded profile?

    I decided to dust off my 360 and I downloaded my profile awhile ago. But if I delete it and not my actual profile. All of my saves and data will still be there, right? Because from what I read. The only point of downloading your profile, is if you want to log in to a different console.

    My Xbox will connected to my network but not xboxlive.

    @lLandol...if it keeps happening , you may want to delete your profile then redownload it to get a "fresh" version...

    When deleting a profile on Xbox 360 you are given the option to delete only the profile or also delete the items, if you choose to delete only the profile, this option deletes the Xbox profile, but keeps the achievements and saved games and DLCs.

    Corrupt Download

    Alright, if you keep getting the corrupt download error here are some steps to try.

    1. Go to system memory and clear the cache and delete the game.

    2. Go to profile memory and delete your profile only (not profile and games)

    3. Recover your gamertag

    4. Redownload the game.
