    Profile issue


    Hi,

    last week I reset my xbox and the Profile.

    Since then I`m not able to compare games with friends, which is the Situation on my whole friendslist..

    Furthermore my xbox welcomes me with my real Name instead of my gamertag and also in the Settings my

    real Name is shown, which I don´t like.

    How can I correct those two Points?

    I have a major issue with my gamer tag, it looks like it has privacy settings of a child. Wont let me play online :-( . Anybody got any solutions, at my wits end

    Profile issue

    Hello,

    The two issues you are describing MIGHT be related.

    When you say "reset my profile" - do you mean somehow reverting your profile back to square one?

    There's a relatively easy fix to your name sharing problems.

    1. Go to Friends.

    2. Select My profile.

    3. Go to Name Sharing Settings (or Share My Real Name)

    4. Here you can select who to share your name with. If you'd like, you can turn the feature off, and then your Xbox should greet you with your gamer tag instead of your real name.

    You can also choose who can see your game log.

    1. Settings

    2. Privacy...

    3. Custom

    4. See your game and app history.

    You can select Everyone, Friends, or Block.

    Thanks for the answer, but unfortunately it didn´t worked...

    in the profile settings I already allowed that everyone can see my achievements,

    but I can´t compare games and it looks more like i would be blocked. but I also

    asked a few and they didn´t block me.

    and the name issue is still there.

    with reset I meant erased local profile.15 sec hold button. load online the profile and since then

    hallo real name. I blocked real name for all, but I don´t want my xbox to welcome me by name,

    which is still the case.

    and also in my online account on xbox there is no possibility to change settings...

    any other ideas?

    The rep system is flawed and broken. Has been this way for at least a couple of years.

    There is no real fix to it.

    Your friends are right when they say not to worry about it.

    I'm a little OCD too, so I handle it by being an achievement addict. Look at my score <---, that's just shy of two years of gaming only.

    As for the rep system, it needs to be taken out completely.

    Hello @JimmyMac44lr! I hope that you are doing well today!

    Normally, when you get this message, it is because you do not have the gold subscription. But if you already have it, please try to delete your profile from the console, then redownload it.

    Also, you might need to check your online privacy settings following the steps mentioned here. Click on the "Xbox 360 Online Safety" tab and make sure to allow the first 2 "Accept Friend Requests" and "Online Gameplay".

    As far as I know there is no fix right now for the reputation system. It has been glitched for quite some time now and although annoying has no real affect on your account. Hopefully (because I know it can be annoying) it gets fixed. Hope I helped, good

    Hello SirBinx. It looks like you need to update your e-mail address to a more current one so you can access your old gamertag, correct? Since you didn't have good luck with XB Support, try Microsoft support instead. Go here:

    commerce.microsoft.com/.../GetSupport    . For Product, Xbox, for Problem Type, Microsoft account, for Category, choose Change Microsoft account or gamertag. You can either chat or request a call back. You should have better luck changing your e-mail address
    with MS support. You will then be able to recover/change your password.
