    Profile is NOT showing in Xbox One Dashboard.


    Hey everybody, I can't seem to edit ANYTHING on my xbox one dashboard. I can't even view my profile. I am signed in, but there is no section at all where I can edit my profile, change my background colour, avatar etc etc. Is there something I'm doing wrong,
    or is this software just a piece of crap?

    What's the purpose of modern Avatar?

    Don't appear on the dashboard? They appear all over the dashboard.

    Even if it was an app, it would still be considered part of the dashboard, because profiles have always been part of the dashboard. Whether they are incorporated into the dashboard via an app or not doesn't really matter and I don't know why you're getting so hung up on that.

    I don't have any insight, because they haven't announced anything. They literally just came out with the new ones last month. It will take time for them to be incorporated into other aspects of the Xbox ecosystem.

    when you are on the homescreen, navigate to Settings, then there should be your Profile on the left side with all related Management Options. if it does not Show this usually means your Profile is not signed in.

    Your cpu might be overclocked, proper restart your xbox, close all apps and uninstall unnecessary apps/games/profiles

    He needs to be logged in the Xbox one/series guide on the Xbox dashboard screen, the get into the game and download the same profile if it isn't logged yet, he can't use the game with a different one than the one logged already outside the game

    I am a bit confused but I am gonna give it a go. Couple things for you to try:



    • Power cycle your console
    • Go to your profile on your console. You can check/change how you appear when you are signed on.


    Give those a go and let us know what happens.
