    Profile help


    Hi, i came on using my pc as i dont use my xbox much any more and it was bricked after an update to which numerous people like me owning an elite suffered the same issue. Some games would work every time while others would never load, always the same games
    every time which made it obvious the update made certain type of discs unreadable, there was a forum made for us to get help which one day was suddenly deleted and swept under the rug.

    Anyway i was hoping i could at least update my profile via the net to notify my friends why i have not been on line and leave a message in my profile of a way of contact with them all instead of sending 52 different PMs . I would prefer just a simple profile,
    BIO update so they can look and see im alive with a message open to all Profile help :)

    But it seems xbox wants you to only be able to do this via a console? In other words via £££ just to simply update my bio etc lol

    Please tell me i am wrong and there is a way via the web?

    Is the Achievement not unlocking resolved fully?

    There's also a fix that Xbox support helped me with.

    Try removing your profile in settings, then redownloading it.

    I haven't bothered to update my profile in years, but you may be able to on Smartglass. Do you have a smart phone?

    Off topic , Since when are pictures allowed back in signatures??

    You would have thought they would have fixed the "turn off" option first.

    *whooshes in* Pictures in signatures aren't allowed, but you could have essentially been "grandfathered" in. If you currently have it, you're good. Just don't take it out because you can't put it back in. *whooshes out*

    Did you have a Gold membership for the entire time your account was connected to Live? The tenure is only counted for the duration that a Gold membership was attached and it only changes on the actual birthday of the account (date account was created).

    When you're born, you don't turn 1 until one year after that date. The tenure is the same. One year after your first purchase of a Gold membership your account turns 1 and so on and so forth after that. In January 2014, your account should turn 5.

    Unfortunately you cannot merge the accounts. You can still use your 360 account if you remember the login information.
