Profile Download

Hi there... so,

Got ACII --> Installed and runned --> got something like" accessing 360 data --> nothing happens until the game opens --> asked to download profile --> tried it - asked to check connection --> checked --> fail again --> throw controller to valhalla... not
a lovely day.

• no live gold for now
• using wifi

current account never got in a x360(tried with one that had. same thing)

i guess something is blocking the BCompatibility software to access the network right? though i don't have a clue on how to fix it.

Deleting downloaded profile?

I decided to dust off my 360 and I downloaded my profile awhile ago. But if I delete it and not my actual profile. All of my saves and data will still be there, right? Because from what I read. The only point of downloading your profile, is if you want to log in to a different console.

Saves should be fine, proflie can be deleted and redownloaded.

 

Hey, Girino Jack! Sorry to see any issues with downloading your profile! What's the error you're receiving when you try testing the connection before throwing your controller to Valhalla (I'm really not sure you can get it back from there, I hope you have
an extra)? You should be able to hit the A button after the connection runs to pull up the error and troubleshooting screen. The full error like IP Address Error or DHCP Error should show up above the instructions you have. Let us know what you see there!

 

Hahaha i like way you think Misses Quinzel! So when i'm already in Assassins Creed II menu, and the profile download option opens on backward compatibility, it opens another window for me to check the connection. There is no error code, says only that i
cannot connect to xbox live. when i'm going to check, he throws me to the xbox one network config. but it says its all right.

- tried change DNS and MAC but didn't work -

Hey there Girino Jack,

Thanks for checking! Let's try to clear the Xbox 360 cache on the console and see if that helps next.

1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.
   
   Note Double-tapping the Xbox button will open the guide from any other screen on the console.
   
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All settings.
4. Select System and then select Storage.
   
5. Select Clear local Xbox 360 storage.
   
6. Select Yes and restart the console. This will not affect your cloud saved games or Xbox One games and profiles.
