Profile Download Error - Backwards Compatible Games

When I start any backwards compatible game, the loading bar at the "Getting xbox 360 info" screen doesn't load and then goes to the menu. From there I can choose to only download profile but then I get an error saying "Can't Connect and test connection"
Which my connection is perfectly fine because Im logged into Xbox live on Xb1.

Read many fourms and tried everything but have found no solution?

anyone happen to find a perfect solution?

I have the same problem. I can´t download mi profile in my xbox360 for the error: 8007007A, and i can´t play backward compatible games in the xone

 

Problem with error code 8007007A

Firts, i couldn´t sign in session in my profile in the xbox 360 for the error 8007007A, later I eliminate the profile in my console and now I can´t download mi profile, for the error: 8007007A.

I can´t play backward compatible games in the xone for the same error.

Thanks for clarifying what's going on. Since this began have you tried clearing your local Xbox 360 storage with the steps in this

Backward Compatibility Troubleshooter? If not, give that a try and then power cycle your console followed by another download of your Gamertag.

I've tried both of those multiple times. Also factory resetting my console, keeping NAT type to Open, clearing Mac Addresses, even set it to a Static IP for the moment. Tried both ethernet and wireless and didn't work either.

Have no clue what it could be.

Which router and modem do you own? Having the brand and model number for those would help a bunch! In addition, we definitely recommend filling out that survey linked at the bottom of the troubleshooter Mister Maka linked in his post so that this information
can be passed directly to the appropriate team.

 

I've had the same issue you have for over 4 months, good luck trying to get help here, I just keep getting the same repeated suggestions over and over even though I've tried them countless times.

The definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results. I'm at that point, hopefully they help you before you get to that point because apparently my issue is unsolvable.

 

I know my Router is a Cisco and modem is a Netgear, I dont have the model number at the moment until I get home but I'll definitely reply again with both of those!

& Boome, Yeah I just first tried playing BC games the other day and I've had this problem for all of them. I see others are able to play online still. It doesn't let me sign into a profile what so ever

 

I have the same issue as Leroy with downloading my 360 info, and i believe there are many more with the same problem

 

I've read so many forums with other people having the same problem. I seriously just wish there was a clear solution that fixes it. They need to release some type of update since so many people are having the problem

 

I have a Linksys EA6350 that is outputting a direct cable into my xbox. My NAT is open. I've tried hard resetting and reloading my profile.

I haven't tried backwards compat for several months but last fall I know it was working just fine.

Let me know if you need any other information to help me troubleshoot. I will give you whatever info you need to fix this... but please do not tell me to keep hard resetting.

Completed the survery and cleared Local xbox 360 storage.

The error message says "Can't Connect" in the topbar and "Can't connect to Xbox Live. Select test connection to troubleshoot your connection" in the body of the popup.

ISP: Charter

Router: Linksys E1500 Wireless Router

Modem: Motorola SURFboard SB6121

Nat Type: Open

Issue still persists with wired connection and wireless.

My Internet company provided it for me. I bought my router separately.
