Profile does not have permission

You need a gold subscription in order to play online.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with permissions on a Microsoft Account.

The error message "Your gamer profile does not have the correct permissions to access this feature" is in reference to privacy and Online safety settings.

• Have you logged into your account and reviewed the settings? (Adult defaults)
• Have you changed your birthdate on your profile to something different?
• Are you part of a family?

If the issue is persistent, you may have to fill out the
Age verification form to
update your Microsoft Account. You can submit proof of age by filling out the
Age verification Request. I
suggest to contact Customer Support.
With their tools, they will be able to review your account with you.

I've had a look and there is nothing to see that should present an issue. Doesn't seem to explain it
