    I have a serious problem, my Xbox Live profile keeps getting corrupted after my xbox is off for extended periods of time. When I turn on my xbox, my account is disconnected from Xbox Live. When I try to connect, I get error code 80151015 and
    I get signed out (profile disappears from sign in list) I delete my corrupted profile, clear the system cache and restart, only to attempt to redownload the profile and be greeted by error code 8007045D. It works after maybe 30mins of trying
    only to fail again. Please help me!

    Gamertag Tenure went from 6 to 3 years

    Same issue here. After a profile corruption I re-downloaded my profile and it went from 10 to 7 years.

    Corrupted gamer profile

    try deleting your profile and redownloading. this should cure the corruption for you. make sure to delete the profile only

    if this does not help and you still have this issue all signs point to a hard drive failure.

    This might also be useful info, I use a 4GB xbox 360 E with a 320GB hard drive. My internal system drive was empty as I had moved everything to the 320GB HDD, but around the same time as the corrruption starting happening it came up saying it has 1.6GB left,
    even though its completely empty. After formatting the mysterious usage goes away only to return when I try to redownload my profile. Not sure if its the cause or even relevant, hopeully this helps.

    Hello,

    I have had a similar issue before. To correct it I had to take the following steps then download my profile to a different storage location. In my case - the slim console's memory unit was faulty so I downloaded the profile to the hard drive. I no longer
    use the memory unit as it unformats itself frequently.

    If you don't have a hard drive as an alternative you can use a portable hard drive or a quality USB stick.

    I've had success with the following steps:

    1. Remove profile - SETTINGS page (far right from home page), select STORAGE, then find your profile and remove.

    2. While in you hard drive under GAMES & APPS look for any red or yellow icons with incomplete or unknown. Delete them.

    3.Clear System Cache - SETTINGS page, select STORAGE and highlight a drive but don't select it. Press Y and select Clear System Cache. Agree when asked.

    4. Be Patient - turn your console off for a full minute. This assists in resetting the console.

    5. Turn on the console and download your profile - it is the icon next to 'create a profile'.

  6. Have to make sure the issue is for sure with your account only. I would suggest creating a test account from xbox.com and try to download it to your xbox. If it downloads with no issues then you know there is no problems with your console or connection.
    From there I would

    • check the entire storage device for any corrupted files( like check all the folders you can for corrupted content and delete it
    • reformat the harddrive if need be)
    • then I would clear the cache as well as delete the market place system data in the system item folder(ok if it is not in there, then you just don't have to delete it)
    • then kill power on console.
    • I would then go to xbox.com, make a change to your avater(can be anything) and save it. Might even go to account.microsoft.com(used to be called account.live.com) and make sure your account info is all verified and up to date.
    • Then come back to console, power on and attempt to redownload it back. If that still fails I would contact xbox support on the phone, they may have to send it up to a higher level team for investigation.
