Profile corrupting on my Xbox 360

Ok so my profile has been on like four Xbox 360s since I've started it. Two family ones, my ownpersonal gears of war one, and my boyfriend's but only profile only corrupts on my own personal Xbox.

I have no problems on any other Xbox about my profile but I want to use my own Xbox. I've had this corrupting problem happen on and off for a year. When it starts to become really annoying redownloading my profile up to three or more times a day and I get
ready to complain it stops but it's come back once more while I try and play skyrim.

Im really tired of it and when I have talked to suport about it I only get told to delete my profile, clear my system cache and restart my Xbox before redownloading my profile. It hasn't done a thing.

I just want my profile to stop corrupting so much that I start to hate Xbox. Please is there any other way to stop it from corrupting. I've check my system for anythincorrupted just incase but everything is fine but my profile. Even my boyfriends's profile
is fine. His never corrupts but mine does?

USB corrupts profile

I mean the USB drive. I can download my profile anywhere else, and I can't migrate my profile to it without corrupting it.

you could try store it on a usb Memory, if it really happens this often and only on one console it can indicate a storage issue

But if it was a storage problem then wouldn't the other profile corrupt to?

Hey, Kain9wolfy! Sorry to see your profile is having so many issues on your console. The storage issue might be that it keeps saving to the same part of the hard drive, and that bit is corrupted. Every time you delete your profile and redownload it, it keeps
saving to the same part.

What you could do, instead of another storage device, is delete your profile, download something else on to your console (like a free game or avatar item on another account), and then download your profile again. That may help with that issue.

However, if it doesn't, I do suggest trying another storage device like a USB flash drive or the hard drive from one of your other consoles. This way we can rule out the hard drive or the console.

Ok, so my friend had to download an xbox live update, but the update kept restarting itself. after it finally finished, he wasn't able to get his profile to connect to xbox live.

We've tried the following to try and fix it: Delete and re download the profile (the profile is corrupted), Clearing the system cache, Updating security proofs, and Reset the xbox 360 to factory defaults. I should probably note that we downloaded his profile
onto my xbox 360, and it worked fine, it wasn't corrupted and it could connect to xbox live. So is this a problem with the profile or Xbox 360?

Hello,

My slim has an issue with the main internal drive in which it loses its formatting. If possible I'd suggest the following:

1. Format the drive and try to download the profile again. This would make you lose any saves so put them on a USB or in the cloud first if you need them.

2. Install a bigger hard drive and put everything on it.

3. After clearing the cache etc, download your profile to a USB drive instead of the memory drive.

There may be a slight glitch in the system so if you reset it, that should help.

1. Remove profile - SETTINGS page (far right from home page), select STORAGE, then find your profile and remove.

2. While in your hard drive under GAMES & APPS look for any red or yellow icons with incomplete or unknown. Delete them. (This may include the game you are trying to fix)

3. Clear System Cache - SETTINGS page, select STORAGE and highlight a drive but don't select it. Press Y and select Clear System Cache. Agree when asked.

4. Be Patient - turn your console off for a full minute. This assists in resetting the console.

5. Turn on the console and download your profile - it is the icon next to 'create a profile'.

Try again.
