Profanity in chat message

So, it used to be that XBL was pretty quick to delete profanity etc from chat messages received from other players. I have received profanity in a few messages over the past month and I have reported them and they are still there and I have not received a notification that action was taken. My other family members like to play online and have seen these. What has changed in the terms of XBL? Are we now allowed to swear in the chat messages now? I know if I were to use a few of them I would be banned pretty quick so what gives?

The enforcement team may have changed how they handle things, but the code of conduct hasn't changed so profanity is still not allowed. They don't always send a message stating they have taken action, but even if you don't get one, it doesn't meant they aren't investigating and taking action. I don't think they always removed messages for everyone either as that's never happened for me.

Whether it was to his friend or to a stranger, using profanity in messages or voice chat is against the TOS.

The enforcement teams do not use this forum.

Based on what he was suspended for, he said something over Live (messages or chat) that violated the code of conduct. It could be anything from profanity to harassing another player by calling them rude names.

what is profanity, as this is a global platform then any word can be profanity to someone, where is the line, who draws that line, why bother having messaging and chat if this is the case. Microsoft is the Disney of the software world.

They need to have a full list of words not allowed as the world is large and languages many. unless a list is provided how are people going to avoid saying the wrong thing, especially in the extreme woke leftist world.
