Product Key doesn't work

The key can only be used once. Since you want to play the game, you will have to purchase a product key yourself, as keys cannot be deactivated and reused or transferred from one account to another.

Most online or local game stores should have them. Amazon, CDKeys, Gamestop (if in USA), Game (if in UK). You could also try Steam, you woudn't need a code from Steam, you would just download straight from them https://store.steampowered.com/app/314160/Microsoft_Flight_Simulator_X_Steam_Edition/

1. Open the Xbox app on your PC.
2. Sign in with the account you used to redeem the Flight Simulator redeemable code.
3. Go to “Library”, it's located in the left pane.
4. The game should be listed there if you're on the correct account, then just click on it and click “install”.
