    Product ID for Xbox one wireless controller


    Hi

    I am trying to return my xbox one controller via the xbox one service centre and it is asking my to enter a product ID for my controller but no matter what value put in it refuses to accept it. I have tried the serial number and the number that begins with
    X873579 and all the other combinations but doesn't seem to take.

    Can anyone correctly identify which value should go in there via a picture or tell me what it should be (it's the xbox one controller without 3.5mm audio jack)

    Confused about getting my controller serviced

    I enter in my personal info and such along with the product ID.

    "Xbox One - Wireless Controller - Black - SEN - Paid (USD 60.00)"

    Does this mean I have to actually PAY to get this fixed?

    Wired controller would be the best/easiest option. The wireless and the charge and play kit will only charge through the pc, but there are adapters available like the ones seen here

    This isn’t to do with the controller, but regardless, I have three controllers and it’s the same with each. I don’t think you know the product. The product in question is the Microsoft Xbox Wireless Headset. It doesn’t need to plug into a controller. It’s a BT headset and connects directly to the Xbox.
