    Processor Question

    Hello,

I am trying to play Forza Horizon 4 on my Surface Pro 7. When I played the game it kept crashing. So I checked the requirements for the game.

    Minimum Requirements

    Intel i3-4170 @ 3.7Ghz OR Intel i5 750 @ 2.67Ghz

So when I went to check my processor mine listed and mine showed

    Intel i5-1035G4 CPU @ 1.10 Ghz

I have no idea about computers so I want to know is my processor above or lower then the requirements above.

    Really Appreciate It.

    :)

    CPU throttling?

You would have to contact AMD support for questions about their processors

    processor overuse

    Hi!

Check among resources which activity consumes more CPU. It can be caused by many factors, just as some anomalous process can use the CPU. For security, perform a scan with your antivirus in addition to an anti-malware scan. If it is not resolved, it will
be necessary to investigate more on the processes in use.

    ARM64 processor

ARM processors are designed for low power, portable devices, the exact opposite of gaming. It’s meant for utility, not for gaming. The processor that runs the offline features like managing downloads on the Xbox consoles is ARM

EDIT Windows 11 is adding support for the Amazon App Store, so it’s possible you can run that version of Minecraft in the future, as those are based on ARM. The feature is still in preview

You won’t see anything that requires advanced processing features on it, and very few I’d any games. These are supposed to compete with Chromebooks in educational settings. Xcloud needs certain things supported in the hardware to mitigate lag.

I highly recommend you return or sell it if games are important to you, and purchase an AMD or Intel based laptop or desktop

    ARM64 processor

Better question would be if you were aiming for a gaming laptop why in heavens name would you buy a NETBOok or a sub pc

They aren't designed for gaming you wouldn't even have any gpu capable of running any game other then solitare

    Or mobile games

Even an amd "Athlon" or Intel "celeron" budget mobile CPUs would run better then an arm64

Even my meta quest 2 requires a gpu assistance on 3d intensive games via quest link to pc and yes it uses an arm 64 cpu

    ARM64 processor

The System Requirements in the Microsoft Store for the Xbox App does specify "X64"...ARM64 is a different architecture.

Bear in mind that ARM64 is primarily aimed at mobile devices. low-end laptops etc which aren't designed for gaming (and often can't run games), there's not really much need for MS to redevelop the app to include ARM64.
