Problemsw itht ypingm essages

So, for some time now, I've been having a much harder time sending messages to friends using my Xbox One controller. Apparently the issue is that I type too fast. Or rather that there's a delay when inputting a space in between words. It's so slow that by
the time I put in the first letter of the next word, the space comes after it, creating messages that look like this: Seei t'sa bsolutelyt errible,i sn'ti t? I find it really annoying that I'm basically being punished for typing too fast and have to take the
time to wait 3 seconds for a space in between every single word. This, IMO, needs to be fixed. It occurs everywhere too - messages, using search, in apps, etc. Are any of you having the same issue?

I use to play bingo for years now I start playing and a few seconds later I receive this ,essage "Application Loading Error" "try again" I have try for over 50 times and I just cant connect, please do something it's very annoying. I havent play
for weeks now, would you fix it???

Xbox Beta issues - no sound from HDMI

Have not had sound from my Xbox since September after a Beta update.

Have been continually tryin to solve since then to no avail.

I have been told to leave essage in the Beta forum, but it seems closed, Customer support won't help as it's a Beta issue

I now have a useless machine. Sound works fine on the old scart type connection, just not on HDMI

Anyone else had similar issues and managed to resolve it?

My xbox live ran out on Novermber 7th and I see no sense in renewing until I can resolve the sound problems

 

M, release a chatpad plz. I don't want to rely on a my phone or a bulky USB keyboard. My Xbox 360 chatpad is a gem. That should solve your problem. I know it's a pain I'm glad my English teacher never saw it lol

 

Xbox 1 runs on an AMD Jaguar 8 core APU 1.75Ghz. It's suppose to be better processing power than Xbox 360. Maybe you're just too fast for Xbox 1's current Dashboard version or you're faster than a "Jaguar". Some peps comment on the Xbox 1's controller size
and how they may have bigger fingers. Try going slower. I know some eftpos machines in a shop can be slower. You press your account and start on your pin. The machine beeps at you your so fast it hasn't even registered your account.

 

Based on what I've seen, the Xbox One IS fast enough - it's a built-in delay that only occurs when you press Y to input a space in between words. When I'm typing letters, it keeps up with my speed just fine. My question is why is that built-in delay even
there? What's the point of it? If there is a point, I don't see it...

 

I had this exact same problem. Do a power cycle and it should be fine, that worked for me.

 

I'll try the power cycle, but I don't think it'll work. Besides I hate doing that because I have to re-sign back into everything whenever I use the IE app.

 

As I say, it completely solved the problem for me. If you don't like doing it often, Power-Saving mode may be a better option for you to stop the problem returning. I also did this and left it for around a month but have since changed back to Instant-On
(after the February update) and the problem doesn't seem to have returned.

 

Okay, so I did the hard-reset and typed this message using my controller with the IE app on my console. As you can see, it appears to work flawlessly. Thanks, Dynamo Hot Dog! I'm sorry that I doubted you.

Still, I wonder why it was an issue to begin with? In any case, isn't it funny that a hard reset seems to fix almost everything?

 

If it were to take a guess I'd say it probably just needed the cache clearing, the RAM freeing up or something. PCs are very similar, I never used to turn my PC off so I'd just restart it every month or so to get it back up to speed.

 

That still wouldn't explain why it was slowing down ONLY with spaces though...

 

Why would they release an chat pad when their is smartglass.

Smartglass makes typing in any scenario on xbox as easy as sending a text message.

 

You may have (or not) found that the problem also affected changing between upper and lower case, backspace etc. It does seem strange but hey, we didn't program it so a mystery it shall remain.

 

Get a wired controller.. If it works fine then the issue is in your wireless controller.
