    Problems???


    I've had my Xbox One since the launch and for the first few months it was great. But the last 2 or 3 months iv benn having problems.

    Firstly, when my controller died i swapped out the batteries, turned the controller back on and it didnt work with the xbox untill i turned it off from the plug socket and restarted it. (Annoying half way through a race on Forza)

    The second problem i have, is no screen.

    I turned the console on lastnight to play, and it didnt sign me in and my kinect wasnt on. I tried signing in manually and it froze. I turned it off, turned the socket off and unplugged it. Plugged it all back in fired it up and the xbox comes on.. but i
    get nothing on the tv. Iv tried changing hdmis, cleaning everything out, swapping hdmi ports, swapping tvs and its not working.. and when its on the only way to turn off is hold the power button on the console for 5-6 seconds.

    Anyone had this issue or have any suggestions??

    Few questions: Are you connected directly to your router? Also Do you receive any error codes while loading a game?

    Just tried what it says on that link dude but no luck.

    Spoke to xbox today and they want it sent back to sort the issue out.

    Hopefully it'll be the end of it and i can play again!!

    Hellllllllp getting well peed off with the naff head set that has not impressed me from day one .Its now fullly dead tryed settings tryed see if i pulled on headset,got my xbox1 from catalog .So unshore or carnt think if warrenty was with it or what.HOW
    can i find out and if still coverd got told if you rais issue with xbox and send head set in they will fix mine or send replacement,Is this true if so ANY phone no that is relevant to my isse can you post up big thanks from oneStresssssedChuffffffer

    if your in the UK or even Europe then contact the retailer first, they are obliged by law to uphold the warranty for a year after sale, no point going though microsoft to get a refurb when the shop can either have it repaired or replaced for you.

    These sort of outages do occur from time to time on both XBL and PSN. Good luck with the 3 months of free gold. i'm sure we will all be credited for lost time if it's a major outage.

    For the freezing make a manual save and delete your autosaves. Change the autosave settings they happen less often or just disable them all together. Always make new saves in new slots and never overwrite old saves. Helped me a lot in Skyrim and both Fallout
    3 and New Vegas.

    For the random dead dragons that glitch all over the screen just use a a powerful fire spell and knock the dragon into the sea. I had this happen outside my main house and it would chase my horses off!

    Maybe so, but he could at least let me give him a decent burial. I've covered him in straw completely and the next time I see him he's thrown it all off. He's pretty lively for a dead guy. Lol

    I do see floating weapons but not often enough to be annoying. In all my time in Skyrim I can still count on one hand the number of falling bodies. I've only seen one levitating mammoth fall and cleared forts respawn at the correct rate. It is odd though
    how individual games differ even with the same player. My last character was the one I re-started at level 5 to do Hearthfire and Dragonborn. At first she saw some dragons but then she had to search for dragons to get souls because they just never showed up.
    This Nord is at level 38 and if she sneezes a dragon shows up. I fast traveled to Forsaken Cave to get the white phial and apparated with a snow bear in my face and a dragon on the ground yomping my back.
