Problems with younger brother's account email

Hello,

I was hoping someone could offer some advice on this.

My younger brother has an XBox Account, for which he has Gold Membership.

Unfortunately he was convinced by his friend to change his email address on the account to something stupid.

He also forgot the password for it.

The email address is not even a real email address (I'm surprised the system allowed him to use a bogus email address), which is not even a real email service. (He put "jmail.com", instead of "gmail.com").

We tried to change the email address attached to the account, but we don't know the password and it won't change without it.

He does have a hotmail account, which we would like to change it to. Is there any simple way for this to be rectified?

Adding a member to Family Pack

I tried the suggested answer, but it did not work. I had a completely different problem.

My brother's account was listed under a parent account since he got his xbox while he was young. When it prompted me to enter the information for my brother's account, I needed to enter the email and password for the parent account instead. After I did that,
it allowed me to add him to the family pack.

Hello, I would suggest contacting Xbox Support on Twitter. They will be quite happy to change your email on the account.

Actually, your best bet here would be to contact phone support. However, I can't guarantee that they'll change the email/password for you.
