Problems with Xbox One S offline update link OSU1.zip

The link to the offline update, OSU1.zip, on Microsoft's Xbox support site is down. I contacted support through chat and they verified the problem, and says "they are working on it". I need to update my new Xbox One S before I can even play it. I can't download
the updates via the console due to lack of allocated bandwidth on my home internet connection, I can get the update from another PC offsite so the offline update is my ONLY option. After searching around on the internet, this is a known problem with the update
file on the Xbox support site. I found an old version of this update to download, but it is from 2016 and requires an additional update of over 400mb after that update is used. So I STILL can't use my new Xbox One S with that update.

Just wondering if anyone knows of an updated OSU1.zip file I can download from any other source? One that doesn't require additional updates after that? I have a feeling the Xbox support link is going to be down for a while, and I'm stuck with a brand new
console that I can't even use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

problem with the offline update

Hi I have a original Xbox one it is stuck updating gets to 99% then says there's a problem with the update so I'm trying to do a offline update but every time I download the OSU1 zip it has problems with the system.xvd file I have tried everything all the
links is anyone having this problem and know what to do? Or is there a way to just get that file?

Follow this link to the Start up Error Solutions Page and download the Offline System Update File (OSU1) onto your PC. It'll be a zip file so you'll have to unzip onto a USB that's at least 8GB and formatted to NTFS. Once it's all downloaded plug the USB into
your Xbox and you should be given the option to do an offline system update

I don't know of any mirrors but is it not possible to take your console to this other location or to a friend who may have a more generous bandwidth allowance?

I try maybe 10 this link since yesterday and can't download the file OSU1 i just need the part in that zip place call :
$SystemUpdate thats Inside the OSU1 zip file

Hi Ricky,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. You can follow the guide here for the

offline update. OSU1 will be highlighted in green. This will be on step 3.

Plug your USB flash drive into a USB port on your computer.
Open the Offline System Update file
OSU1.
Click Save to save the console update .zip file to your computer.
Unzip the file by right-clicking on the file and selecting Extract all from the pop-up menu.

The only thing I can reccomend you to do is to try an offline system update by following the instructions in the following link

And if that does not work I would reccomend returning the product to where you bought it and exchanging it.

I am following instructions, OSU1.zip is downloading atm, USB drive is flashed to NTFS.

If that doesen't work, I will do as You say.
