Problems with Xbox One achievements notifications not popping up.

Hello all,

Hope this is the correct place to state my issue I am currently dealing with. I recently picked up Minecraft (XB1 Edition) and began playing it earlier this week. I have unlocked 10 achievements so far. However in game, there was never one of those Xbox One
Achiement unlocked notification that typically pops up when meeting the achievement requirement etc. My gamerscore shows I have earned the points but the notification pop up never once appeared for the game. On Sunday 9/7; I beat Crimson Dragon and had absolutely
no issues what-so-ever with unlocking achievements let alone seeing the little notificaiton at the bottom of the screen. I have tried shutting down the Xbox One normally from Settings and have done a "hard" reboot by holding the power button down for 5 seconds.
I thought about going to notification preferences, disabling them, turning the Xbox One off, and then rebooting. But I am looking for feedback and other suggestions. I have been seeing similar issues, but this has only affected me when playing Minecraft. Thoughts
anyone?

I can't believe this still has not been fixed. I've had this issue for 2 years now. Hard resetting fixes it for a day, then the next day it's broken again. On top of achievement notifications, I don't get notifications when a friend comes online or when
I receive a new message. How do I fix this? Why has this not been patched?

 

I think this is an issue with Minecraft. I am seeing the exact same thing. I haven't play much this month, so I can't say for certain that achievements are popping up in other games.

Thanks for the confirmation. Granted it is a pain in the [Mod Removed], it is good to know it is having elsewhere. Try downloading and playing Crimson Dragon. It is achievement heaven pretty much. You should get notifications utilizing that game. It would
also be a good indicator that is is game specific. I have seen some reports from people saying they do in fact get notifications for Minecraft Xbox One edition achievements. Didn't an Xbox One update come out very recently? I wonder if that has any sort of
impact?

 

I played for about 3 to 4 hours yesterday and the achievements began popping up on the screen as normal. Not sure what happened. Maybe like other posts have said, it takes time for the servers to sync up. It worked; I did do all my steps above, so that might've
help.

 

I have the same issue with Peggle 2, and Titanfall, both digital copies. So perhaps its something to do with that.

 

I think you are right, there are alot of reports of people saying they are experiencing issues with achievement unlocking a little late. Most of the time the issue resolves itself. If the problem returns again make sure to share it with us!

And for the people that are still having this issue, give it a day or 2, try the steps above and if that doens't work make sure to post it here.

 

i have same problem with fifa 15 digital copy, some achievements pops up, some not
