    Problems with Xbox live party. NAT issue


    What Country/State/Province do you live in? Alberta Canada

    Modem brand & model number:     Unknown, I know mostly what I'm doing in this field but cannot seem to locate or identify my modem

    Router brand & model number:     D-link dir-825



    Things you have tried:     router reset, port forward, set Xbox to DMZ, give static ip, and many other internet based solutions. These 3 can on rare occations cause my xbox nat type to become open and allow for play for a few hours.



    Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?     This seems to be the major problem. Strict NAT, Port-preserving port-symmetric NAT.

    Any Error Codes you encounter: "    Someone in the party cannot connect to you"

    Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider):     Shockware

    xbox live party problems

    i have party problems with friends ... cant connect to the xbox live party there may be network problems

    no have nat problems

    multiplayer quick fix(works for me not guaranteed though) MICROSOFT FIX YOUR CONSOLE

    Xbox Live had lost his power with Xbox One . On 360 all was fine , no nat problems or strange party chat system ...

    Microsoft need to fix all these stuff because most people buyed xbox one for his Live ...

    Need to find modem type , if its a gateway , that could very well be your problem...

    this is been happening to me since the xbox live crasha few days ago.

    me and my friends will be in party chat and it will be fine for hours then randomly it will start saying "someone in party cannot connect to you". This happens randomly even tho everyone NAT is open. I know everyones nat and mine is open cause we have taken
    pics to prove it .

    Again its randomly just happens, it will be fine for 2-3 hours then bam and messes up for around 15-20 mins. Then we can get back in party with each other. Started the 2-3 days ago when xbox live messed up

    Switching your router off.

    I don't have any problems joining parties. I switch the router off every night when i'm done. Maybe it's a NAT issue if you're unable to join xbox live parties.

    So if you are getting kicked from Party's and have problems connecting to party's it could be a NAT issue. I would suggest testing your connection and see if you get a Nat warning if you do check out the article below it should help.
