    Problems with Xbox App on Windows 10 streaming console play


    Alright, this is driving me insane. I've been able to stream my Xbox console play to my windows 10 pc flawless the past couple of days. All of a sudden now for the past 12 hours I keep getting this message(see picture). I've restarted both systems, did disk
    clean up on my computer, checked for windows and driver updates, hard wired both operating systems, disconnected and reconnected my xbox console to the windows 10 app, contacted windows tech support, contacted Xbox support and no one seems to know why or what

    Streaming issue xbox one on windows 10

    Hi, I played a lot of times on xbox app on windows 10 and there was no problems, but today when I started the streaming the resolution appeared different than usual in fact there was like a frame that covers part of my streaming, so I couldn't see completely my
    gametarg. I've just tried to reboot my console and I've also tried to unistall and reinstall xbox app on windows 10, but the problem persists. Help me please, my tv is broken and xbox app is the only way I can play Fifa Problems with Xbox App on Windows 10 streaming console play :(

    On the win 10 xbox app, go to the "connect" tab - click "more" next to your console, remove the console then try to search for it again?

    I've done that, as I stated in the initial post. " disconnected and reconnected my xbox console to the windows 10 app." Ive also manually entered the console IP address to connect it and that didnt work. Its working fine now today, but I'll give it a few
    hours before it fails/refuses to work again. It happens all the time.

    Thank you for replying - but that link is for mobile devices specifically, not Windows 10 devices, which is what the OP was asking about.

    Currently, the Xbox Console Companion streaming still works on Windows 10. The reason OP was asking about the Xbox app on Windows 10 is because the Xbox Console Companion app is prompting users to install the Xbox app, which does not have streaming support.
    I know that there is supposed to be a new Console Streaming app on Windows 10 later this year, but it is not available yet. I was just clarifying that for the OP and anyone else asking the same question about the new app, since I came here with the same question.
