Problems with "The Witcher 2" cannot see savegames and achievement list.

Hello,

I did play The Witcher 2 on xbox 360 2 years ago, and I have 32 of 50 achievements completed with 545 Gamerscore.

today I did move all the save games on myxbox 360, from the internal HDD to the Cloud, then I restared the xbox 360 console to let it upload them.

After that I see that the save games appear on the cloud "in sync".

Then I downloaded Witcher 2 on xbox one and run it.

Then 2 major problems appear

1)the game loads on xbox one but there are no save games to be found

2)when I check the achievements lists from the emulator I see 0/50

I did turn on my xbox 360 and I see in the achievement list there that The Witcher 2 appears 2 times in my list

one with 32/50 achievements and one with 0/50 achievements .

I idid press "Delete Game History" on the 2nd game with 0 achievs but it didn't help.

Any ideas?

"Hope" is not an option. We must make a petition or something, to be heard! Otherwise we still can't manage our savegames, maybe for ever... It is OUR savegames by the way, so why we cannot delete them, or even see them ffs...

Hmm,

Are you seeing your Achievements listed on Xbox.com or SmartGlass? Do you see the same problem in other games? What about on the Xbox One dashboard? Do you see the Achievements if you check in your profile?

 

The problem appears only on xbox 360 emulator.

I did just check my achievements from xbox one,

The Witcher 2 appears one time and correctly (545/1000 GS 55% completed.

I haven't tested all my backwards compatible games, but from these that I have tested this is the first time I have this problem.

I did try GRID 2, Counterstrike GO and The Cave today and everything worked perfect.

 

That's weird for sure, sounds like the Achievements are still on the account though, so you might want to check this page to see if it helps:

there are two "The Witcher 2" references on the achievments , with different icon

...this is crazy, does xbox think it is a different game????

 

Actually I think I might know what's going on. The Witcher 2 actually released on PC as apart of Games for Windows Live. Did you ever play the game on PC? That would explain the two different Achievement sections.

 

No, I did not.

The line that shows achievements completed from witcher 2 is from my xbox 360 playthrough last year,

and the new line of achimenents with 0 completed is created each time I try to play witcher 2 via backwards compatibility.

When I delete the zero achievments line, and re-run Witcher 2 via backwards compatibility , it gets created again.

so the problem is that Witcher 2 via back.comp. doesnt recognize

1) my cloud saved witcher 2 savegames

2) my witcher 2 xbox 360 achievement progress.

For the emulator is like I've never played that game before.
