Problems with the ports on my Original Xbox 360

I bought an Elgato HD60 S Game Capture System a while ago, and was really excited to start using it on my original white Xbox 360. To use the Elgato HD60 S, I needed two HDMI cables and one USB-C to USB cable. The USB-C to USB cable connected the Elgato
HD60 S and my computer. One HDMI cable connected the Elgato and my TV. The last HDMI cable was supposed to connect the Elgato and the Original White Xbox 360 Console. However, the component cord that connected my TV and the console was physically blocking
the HDMI port on the Console because its port is directly above the HDMI port, and the end was too bulky to let me plug in both the component cord and HDMI cable at the same time. My question is: is there an alternative method to plug in both cables at the
same time, or am I required to spend more money on a newer Xbox model in order to allow all cables to be hooked up at the same time? Thank you and I hope to get a response or solution as soon as possible, so I can record and stream my games.

Well iv never had problems with my 360 and the internet but since getting a xbox one last nov iv had to either port forward or port trigger and use a static IP

360 overlap the ports used by
Xbox One. Which router do you have? You may want to verify it can support multiple consoles simultaneously.

 

Is the issue that the actual hdmi connector is unable to be inserted into the port or does the hdmi cable you are using have a ferrite core in-line (cylinder type shape) that is prohibiting you from connecting the cable up? If it has a ferrite core I'd
suggest looking into a slim hdmi cable like the one
here

You could also try getting a right angle hdmi adapter and setting the console vertically (if you have the stand) to see if that might provide a solution.

is there any reason you are trying to keep them both plugged in at the same time? the hdmi will do audio and video to the elgato and the output side goes to the tv. i want to understand a little more as I have the same elgato and I run all the current and
last gen systems through via hdmi (and some systems an optical out to my receiver) and it all works fine so can you explain what exactly you are trying to do? (if there is any more than what you have already typed) and more importantly why you need 2 different
audio\video cables running off ot at the same time?
