Problems with sync function

You should be able to do it following these steps:

Connect your controller using a micro-USB cable (included with all standard Xbox One wireless controllers and the Xbox One Play & Charge Kit). Standard alkaline batteries won’t be used to power the controller functions while you’re using your controller
as a wired controller.

If you’re using an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 or Xbox Adaptive Controller, connect your controller using a USB-C cable (included with both controllers).

Depending on the type of controller you have, plug the micro-USB or USB-C cable into the power port on the back of the controller then plug the other end of the cable into your Xbox One.

Has anyone at microsoft ever considered patching the buggy firmware that caused this problem in the first place?

a button failing to fulfil it's function in 1 context (syncing the controller) but completely able to fulfil another function ( alternative menu on start-up) is not exactly a user issue.

They added the Full Sync thing to function as a Hard Mode. Why should it be easy to beat?

I am having this exact problem. The only way I can get cloud saves to sync is via my phone's hotspot. All other network functionality, both on XboxOne and other devices, works great via my normal Centurylink DSL connection. It's just Synced data that's horribly
slow and then fails. What does data syncing do differently than other network activity that clearly does not work with some ISPs?

I am having the same problem and it is very frustrating. have over 3,00 songs in my collection, saved in my library on the laptop but there are approximately 1,800 which have not synced. It makes no sense as some songs from an album have synced but not
others.

There seems to be no way of checking what the issue is with the sync status.

Perhaps in trying to keep the UI as clean as possible some more detailed functionality has been eliminated but it would be helpful
