    Problems with Starfield saves on Xbox


    So I currently play Starfield on my Xbox Series S, and have ran into the issue of the save errors, where I'm running out of saves. I originally had over 120 saves, but deleted it down to 22, and this error message is still coming up. I’ve uninstalled, I’ve turned off all autosaving functions and everything. I get the feeling jt may be to do with cloud gaming being full or something like this, but I don't know what to do, in that i could possibly end up loosing what would be nearly 400+ hours of progress. Does anyone have a solution other than deleting old save files and what I’ve listed above? Deleting them now still ends up with the same error message.

    Is Starfield supposed to be Xbox Play Anywhere enabled?

    starfield is cross save so yes the saves are in the cloud and work on both xbox console and pc xbox app.

    I feel your pain. I lost my whole game.. .2 weeks worth of play. Xbox has inferred that the issuebis the "cloud beta". I'm just wondering why Microsoft would initiate the cloud based save system during the release of Starfield. Everyone that has ever played a Bethesda game knows they are infamous in their own right for having game save issues.

    I personally have quit Starfield and won't Plat any games that require cloud saves until (if they ever do) Xbox fixes the problem.

    deleting old saves games wont help.... sorry we need a better solution than that... i have this issue since Starfield ...

    cant save game on FC 2024 too and all of bethesda game.

    if that can help, i was able to install Starfield on my PC to retreive alot of saved games data that was not available on my xbox game save...

    Starfield black loading screen white circle bottom right but game will not load. Lever 52 so will not go back to beginning

    I have the same problem. On Xbox, via gamepass only with Starfield. Went to land on a planet and it didn't come back from the save screen. Try restarting console, and I have no option to select a save file, just this damn black screen and circle in the bottom right corner.

    What good is cloud based saves if it doesn't work ???

    Well dude tbh I'm not on ANYTHING. You must not play on xbox because IT IS A PROBLEM THERE. I've tried everything xbox has suggested and their last reply was that there are known issues with cloud based saves on xbox and Starfield. SO YEAH I'M BLAMING THE SYSTEM.
