Problems with Signing in and Xbox Live Account

Recently I changed my Xbox Live Email address and I have found it disconnects from Xbox live a lot and when signing in to Xbox it will always ask me for my email address and password for security reasons. It has become annoying when trying to play games
and it randomly disconnects then when I try reconnect it asks for email and password. Could someone please help thanks

Netflix and Amazon Prime, one account 2 xbox. Help

Hi all

I have two xbox one and want to be able to watch Netflix or amazon prim on one xbox and play games on the other at the same time, the problem is I can not run the apps without a xbox live account and I can not sign in as I am already signed in on the one I play games.

why can I not sign into the apps without a xbox live account as this is annoying and I just can not get this to work

How to Troubleshoot profile-password errors

It is possible to restrict access to your Xbox LIVE profile from any console by making it necessary to use your Microsoft account password to sign into your profile.

You may encounter the following errors when you try making your password necessary for sign-in:

• "Sorry, there was a problem requiring your password for sign-in on other consoles. Your password is still remembered for other consoles. Try again later, or try requiring password on sign-in from www.xbox.com. Visit xbox.com/security if you think someone else is accessing your account."
  
• "Sorry, there was a problem requiring your password for sign-in on this console. Your password is still remembered on this console. Try again later, or try requiring password on sign-in from www.xbox.com. Visit xbox.com/security if you think someone else is accessing your account."

Solution: Set a password requirement on Xbox.com

1) Click My Account

2) Go to Settings & Preferences

3) Select Xbox 360 Profile Protection

4) Sign in using your Microsoft account (email and password associated with your Xbox LIVE account). You will see the number of consoles that don't require a sign-in password to access your Xbox LIVE profile.

5) Click Protect Profile. This will make it necessary to download your profile again using your Microsoft account before it can be used on any console. All previous copies of your profile will not work, and any changes or achievements that had not yet been saved to Xbox LIVE will be lost.

Important: If you feel that your password has been compromised, you can change your Microsoft account password by following these steps:

1) Sign into accounts.live.com using your Microsoft account.

2) Got to Account Information, and next to Password, click Change.

If you are unable to set a sign-in password on Xbox. com, you should check the Xbox LIVE service status.

If the Xbox LIVE service status is up and running, you should repeat the process later.

If the problem persists, contact Xbox Support.

I will try my best to help. You mentioned when it disconnects you, it asks for your email and password again.

When you enter both gave you selected the option to remember your details?

Can you first go to settings, located at the far right of the dashboard

1. Go to system

2. Click on Storage

3. Go into the hard drive

4. Click on each of the categories on your hard drive example Games and Apps, Demos. Excluding system files delete any file indicating a yellow exclamation icon.

5. Go back to storage devices

7. Highlight hard drive

8. Press Y for device options

9. Clear system cache

10. Come out if storage and go to System > Network settings

11. Click on your network connection.

12. Test Xbox Live connection

It will sign you out automatically, so after that is complete re-connect to xbox live and if it prompts you for your email and password, fill it in as normal, for better results recover your profile with the updated email address, and once its completed
it will prompt you with the option to remember you for future logins on the console.

Do you mean delete any yellow exclamation mark files?

 

Yes, corrupt ones, and follow all steps in order, please keep me updated

Good News I did as you said no corrupt files but I cleared cache checked XBL connection. Signed back in fine turned Xbox on and off just to check and its working man Thank You so much : )
