    i’m trying to log into a new xbox (i havent used my account for an xbox before) and after putting in a gamertag and submitting i keep getting a 0x80A40008 error. is there a way to fix this so i can set up the xbox?

    You need to link his Microsoft Account (the one you use on the console) to a new Epic account.

    We can't link more than one Microsoft account to an Epic account, and if you try to link a different one, you may receive an error message.

    You can do it here:

    Please, enter Epic website: epicgames.com/account/connected

    Go to Your Name > Account > Connections > Accounts

    Select his Microsoft Account to link it.

    If you still can't, you will need to open a support ticket with Epic support.
