    Problems with saving and pause menu loading times in Forza Horizon 5


    I'm running Forza Horizon 5 on game pass ultimate, and I've been having a problem where I click the pause button and it brings up the header info (gamertag, current car, credits, accolade points etc.), but the main pause menu takes about 2 minutes to load. I then got a popup from Xbox saying "There's a problem with your saved games. To play, you'll need to delete and sync them again..." and the error code "0x80831002".

    I did this, but after my info synced and I tried it again it didn't fix anything. I was able to keep playing even after getting the message again, but I shut my console down and I just turned it back on to find that it didn't save anything I did before I turned it off.

    Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    I checked the error code but there are no related article or information from Xbox Support. I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    "1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​"

    If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    "Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps."

    Thank you for the help, I just tried it and it didn't help the loading time, it still took 5 minutes from the time I clicked on the game until the menu loaded up. This is the only game that takes forever to load up, besides Forza horizon 4 which is way
    less but takes longer than other games.

    Version 1.1 shows up in the bottom left side of the pause menu. Load the game save and then pause, it doesn't show until you continue a save game and then check version.
