Problems with redeeming codes of Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 3

With the purchase of Gears of War unlimited, i received codes to play the previous games of Gears of War on my xbox one. However according to xbox Support these codes are from the US Region, my own acount is from the Netherlands. This only counts for the
games of Gears of War 1 and Gears of war 3, the other games work just fine.

After having a chat with the support, they told me to contact this forum with the ticket number:

I hope you are able to give me the correct codes, so i can enjoy playing these games again.

Gears of War Remastered Beta Not Downloading.

xbox live status says gears of war 3 is having problems redeeming tokens, is it a code for gears 3 or gears 4 beta?

To clarify, are you having issues redeeming your Gears of War 3 code as stated in the title, or are you still in need of Gears of War codes?

The codes would be correct the issue isn't the codes

The codes are universal

However the issue is in fact your account region not the codes

In order to use those codes you must match your account region to your actual region

This can be changed under my account and change my region on this website

Your must update your console region and payment options accordingly

For the best experience with xbox live your account region must reflect your actual region

And this holds true for both of those games as both are region locked

And yes 2 and judgement arent that's why you were able to download them

 

Most triple a 360 titles are region locked if you don't change it you will continue to have issues

This is enforced by international laws and copyright and distribution rights

 

Glad that you answered my question, I can see now that i changed it for the reason that Kinect voice abilities did not work on my 360 console, so i had to change my acount to Great Britain. Thank you very much!
