    Problems with Party Chat system on Xbox One


    Good day, Ambassadors and tech support. I have been having trouble with the party chat system on the xbox one system for months and need to address the problem, publicly now. Whenever someone sends me a party chat invite, the invite is only valid after a
    minute and nothing else. Even when the party chat is in session for many minutes, I cannot accept the current invite after all that time. This shows an error occurred, but no numbers and/or lettering afterward. I have been patient of not saying anything public
    to this support/ambassador forum. You Ambassadors get nothing in return of your limited services as well and it is time to step up your role in doing actual work for fixing these matters. What is it that Ambassadors do, exactly? Do not tell me you actually
    work for free and get nothing in return of xbox support services? What a waste of time that can be.

    May Xbox fix this, please? Thank you for your understanding, especially to the Ambassadors that suppose to replace support in these times....way before COVID-19.

    I'm getting this exact issue. Why does the XBOX One Party chat suffer so many issues? It's amazing how on the XBOX 360 there wasn't this many problems with the party chat. Now with the XBOX One it's been nothing but issues with the Party chat since the
    system was released.

    My NAT = OPEN

    0X89231806 your network settings are blocking party chat.

    I'm also tired of Microsoft constantly suggesting to do a hard reset on the system. It seems to be their answer to everything. Have a problem? Hard reset your system.

    This should not happen, anyone playing in the xbox one family should be able to party chat. What system they are on should make no difference. In fact, you don’t even need a system to party chat, you can use the xbox app for parties if need be.

    Xbox One and Xbox 360 party systems are not compatible with each other. You can only join other Xbox One players in party chat.

    You can chat with Xbox 360 friends using Skype though.
