PROBLEMS WITH MY XSX

Submitted thru my XSX report a problem.

Welcome to Xbox Community Forums. We appreciate for sharing your concern with us and we hope that you are doing well today.

We understand that you encountered issues with your Xbox Series X. As per description the console is not updating games automatically even if it was set as "automatic update".

Let us try to fix it either by a network reset or just a system refresh. Kindly go through the following steps to clear the Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address >

Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

Another thing you should check is your settings. I would like you please to follow the instructions below to make sure that your settings are adjusted to "Keep my games & apps up to date":

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
   
2. Select Profile & system> Settings > System > Updates.
   
3. Under Updates, select Keep my console up to date to update your console automatically and Keep my games & apps up to date to update games and apps automatically.
   

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

Same problem with XSX, LG Cx, Denon 1600h

I tried my XSX on a different TV and it worked. Unfortunately, it looks like an issue with my Android TV. Rebooting my TV seemed to solve the problem.
