Problems with my sons Xbox one

When my son tries to start up his xbox one, everything works fine. The when ha want to start a game, it says the games are not working. Then after 2 hours it starts working, and ha can play. But when he changes from one game to another it doesnt start again.
The account is ok, xbox live is ok. Whats the problem?

No smell or strange sounds. It worked perfectly fine yesterday. I try the "hard way" first

If we do the factory reset, does all things he saved goes away? like everything he has won i games and from fortnite?

Hello, it might probably be a hardware problem. Does the console make any strange sound/smell? The smell is quite hard to happen but you never know.

You can try a hard reset or a factory reset.

Hard reset: press the power button for 10 seconda while the console is on. Then start it again.

Factory reset: this is performed in the settings and can delete every game and file related to the profiles on the console, or only to delete some setting and the profiles. This usually help resetting things right.

I have some more information on this problem. We have 3 Microsoft accounts. Dads's (mine) and my two sons. All cards work fine on my account and one son's account. The problem only occurs on one of my son's accounts. The problem is obviously with the one
account only.

My xbox one won't read the disc either and I'm also in the preview program, it's likely the issue i'm guessing.
