Problems with My Home Xbox (Game Sharing)

So I ran into a problem with the game sharing called My Home Xbox. See before I went to basic I gamed shared with a friend so he could have something to do wile I was gone. When I got back a week ago I did not think much about it at the time because I
thought the support page could help me. It turns out they can't.

So what happen was my friend upgraded his Xbox to the Xbox one x and profile shared my account to it. Now that does not bother me at all because I should still have 3 left from my knowledge. Now what does bother me is that he did it 3 more times switching
my account back and forth from his Xbox one to the Xbox one X three more times preventing me from putting my account on my Xbox. I'm station in Germany and leaving tomorrow. I won't have access to the internet for some time and I can't switch my account
for almost a year. The support can't do anything about it and all my games are digital. So I can't access them offline.

So that is my problem in a nut shell. I understand I won't use my Xbox much but still. I spent more money on that Xbox than anything in my life so I should be able to use it any time I want. Microsoft you guys should really do something about that. At
least let the support team help. Like really I spend a lot of money on your products and this is what you do in return. Not cool. I'm risking my life for the country that aloud you to freely move around. If it was not for the men and women that server in the
US army you guys probably won't be where you are today.

So to rap this up. Microsoft please do something about this. At least make the support team help with it or make the owner have the final "switch". Make it where they haft to entire in a code from their email to use the final one. Because now I own an
Xbox that I won't be able to use for almost a year because the parts of the world I'm going to does not have reliable internet. You have no idea how angry I am.

In order to stop sharing with someone else, you should set your Home Xbox to your own console. That undoes the actions you took to start sharing.

You can change your Home Xbox on your own console following
these steps.

If you are referring to making your Xbox your "Home" Xbox, you can only do it 3 times in a 1 year period.

From support:

You can change which console is your home Xbox up to three times during a one-year period. This period works on a rolling basis, starting the moment you change your home Xbox for the first time. For example, if you make your console your home
Xbox for the first time on January 1st, and then change it two more times, on February 1st and March 1st, you will not be able to change it again until January 1st of the following year. The next time you'll be able to change it after that will be on the following
February 1st, and then again on March 1st. Please make a note of the dates when you change your console to your home Xbox so that you'll know when you can change its designation again.

When you change home consoles, all device licenses for digital content will move to your new home Xbox. These device licenses will no longer be available on your old "home" Xbox.

 

This is part of why you should never share your account information with anyone else. It's actually a violation of the code of conduct to do so.

 

Customer service should reset your home limit. They have for me in the past. Unless xbox has changed there policy or you have called in before asking them to reset your home limit. Also, as smwutches said you should never share your sign in information with
anyone. But if you do in the future change your password after you game share. This will help prevent this from happening again.

 

When they changed the limit to 5 per year they stopped doing resets.
