Problems with Microsoft Mahjong Data Downloading

I have been playing Microsoft Mahjong for the last several months without any problems whatsoever on my personal computer. I also play Microsoft Puzzles, Microsoft Soduko, and Microsoft Solitaire without any problems, and have been playing since
just after Christmas. My identity is .

Tonight I go to play the Microsoft Mahjong, and I cannot play online or offline even as a guest.. I get the following error message:

"There was a problem downloading game data for Microsoft Mahjong. Please check Microsoft Mahjong FAQ at
FAQ Archive - Microsoft Casual Games and refer to error code 101_105_1-1. When I tap retry to reload I am then given error code 101_107_1." After reviewing Microsoft support myself, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
This still did not correct the problem even after a restart of my computer.

I contacted the support team for Microsoft Xbox. I have spent almost two hours on the phone with John Marvin/Microsoft Xbox and the. problem is still unresolved. Although the message clearly states that there is a problem in downloading the game data,
I was advised to check. for updates on my computer. Although my updates. are done on a regular schedule each week automatically, I was advised to check that. All was current. Then I was sent two or three different links which was just information, including
one for the forum. I have found no answers there either. I was then advised to reset my internet even though everything else is working fine, .

Please can someone please help get this situation resolved so that I can once again enjoy the game.. Everything that the chat advised, I have completed or checked more than once with no solution to the problem.

How do I resolve this issue?

 

Same problem here. Seems to be a problem syncing the game data. App updates are all completed and ditto on windows updates. I'd say the problem is on the XBOX Live server side

You will notice the account does login. It just borks on downloading the game data.

Also tried going into the Xbox app, letting it login and then accessing the game app directly from there. Same problem.

 

I have the same problem, though my error code is 101_107_1. Only thing that changed since the last time I played the game was Java update to version 121. So it's either that or there's a server problem on the Microsoft side.

Exact same problem here. Tried deleting, downloading again, clearing store cache etc.. Tried playing offline and then connecting and received the same error that way also.

 

I have been getting a larger and larger number of problem with the downloading of all most all of the games I play

I don't know why I do not know what I am doing wrong. I followed the same program of operation that I have all ways

have. I think that something is happening to the signal in between my computer and the sender of the game. Please can

someone check the age of the towers and the type of equipment old to new. we just went through a big change. higher tech,.

Maybe I am to old of a computer. Please help. I thank you for any help you can give.

 

Same problem here. Not even sure why I'm bothering to play these days though, the lag has been insane!

 

So that's a bit of a mission to do whatever they are suggesting!! Anyway, clearly a problem with MS Mahjong syncing with XBOX Live account. Either a problem with XBOX Live account or MS Mahjong. Main thing that's gonna **** me off is that I will miss consecutive
days to get my AWARD!!!! now what?

 

Same problem here. It seems that the issue happens after the recent update of the game.

Hopefully they will provide a new update as a patch to fix the issue.

 

I don't think it has anything to do with a recent update. I cannot receive automatic updates from the App Store. I must manually turn my firewall COMPLETELY off (hurray security!) and then Check for Updates in the Microsoft App Store manually. I have not updated
the Mahjong App since it was installed weeks ago. This appears to be an issue with syncing data from the Star Club part of the game that pushes the daily challenges from some other source.

 

Update: Problem resolved upon opening the app today. Good job!
