    my xbox is trying to make me buy a live subscription like mines expired but when i try to buy it it says " you only can purchase one" like im still a subscriber

    You're showing up here as a gold subscriber. Maybe the purchase had gone through, despite the error message.

    Check
    https://commerce.microsoft.com     That will tell you any subscriptions you may have, and how long for.

    That's odd. If you are able to sign into these forums using your account, you should also be able to sign in there. Give support a call.

    I got the same thing but on FIFA 15, the problem was that my gold membership was over. And then the "auto" live thing changed my live to a free trial version, so I tried to buy a new gold membership and it worked.

    Sorry to hear about your problem.



    Yes, the number on the upper right of your GamerTag is the tenure of your Xbox Gold Live account.



    It is a continuous count, so it will reset if there is a lapse in the membership.



    Therefore, if you are currently a Free/Silver member, and start a Gold Live membership, the tenure will be zero.

    Although I have a XBOX Live Gold when I try to purchase NBA 2K16 it asks me to make a new subscription

    The free month with gold membership is a trial period and doesn't offers all the privileges of the paid gold membership. I suggest you to purchase xbox live gold membership to enjoy the full privileges of this membership.
