Problems with headsets and now controllers

Have you reset the console power supply?

Did you just plug in another controller, or swap them over without a restart of the console?

Do the controllers have Passkeys assigned?

yes power was reset several times as i was trying to make sure controllers were updated as the microsoft tech kept saying 1 controller isnt updated, so i was swapping battery packs between the controllers and restarting console each time i swapped discs
over. so after work i packed everything up and returned it to place of purchase they ran some tests on controllers, console and headset. turns out the elite controller i bought last week was faulty and was affecting other controllers. also the headphone jack
on the controller was screwed so he couldnt get the shops wired headset mic to work. the shop has replaced the controller ive driven home and all seems to be working at the moment besides my mic. since talking with the turtle beach tech on friday afternoon
ive had a partial succes in connecting the headset via bluetooth to my phone fingers crossed i get a reply tomorrow from the turtle beach tech and we can continue on testing

So we've got a few issues to suss out. We're talking Headsets and Controllers. We don't know if the headset and controller issue are related or if it's an issue with the devices, console, or game.

Let's start breaking it down:

Headset: You got a new headset and you can't talk in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, correct? Are you in Party chat or in game chat? Can you elaborate what you mean about tapping out morse code? Are you able to talk in other games, or is it just Call of
Duty? Additionally: What's your NAT? You can find it in Settings > Network > Network Settings

Controller: Triggers not working for Call of Duty. This is specific to the game itself, as you've said, so we'll have to look at the games settings.

Check this page for details on configuring controls and settings, and verify they are mapped properly. If everything looks good, we'll try to find some other avenues to troubleshoot.

So no reply from turtle beach since 1st contact. Probably closed for Xmas break lucky buggers. Ice had a major breakthrough with the head set today whilst playing around with settings getting them right i pressed the power button while they were already
on and im not sure if i activated or deactivated the anc but it's working.. cheers for your help everyone merry xmas
