Problems with headphones plugged into chat pad after newest update XBone

I've run into a problem, my Turtle Beach headphones have been working fine plugged into my xbox one chatpad right up until I dl'd the update yesterday. Now when I try to join a party, I can't hear the other connected parties, it's barely a whisper no matter
how loudly I turn up the volume on chatpad or xbox headset controls, but they can hear me. I tried also readjusting the mix between game and party slider and chatpad controls for that. The volume controls don't 'beep' either when I turn it all the way up,
or all the way down like they did before. When I play The Division, I can hear some of the background and foreground noises, but not all of them. Isac warnings don't play on headphones, but I can hear it on TV if I have the sound on. I can hear a wishy washy
gunfire sound, but no reload sound, stuff like that.

I tried a hard reset, checked to make sure controller and xbox is updated. Tried turning the xbox off and unplugged for 15 minutes to see if it would clear the cache. Unplugged the heatset, chatpad, and reconnected in turn to no avail.

When I take off the chatpad, and plug headphones in directly to controller, party chat and Division sounds completely normal. Is there some glitch with chatpad compatibility since update? As I stated earlier, everything worked beautifully together beforehand.

Having issues with headphones/audio quality.

I have similar problems I use my kinect on the one to speak but headphones plugged into my TV to hear after the new preview update this stopped working

Xbox One Headset adapter - can I just use it get in-game audio from headphones plugged into my wireless controller?

Just plugged some headphones into my chat adaptor to check for you and it works a charm, just make sure you push the game pad icon button on the top left of the adaptor to make the sound come through.
