Problems with Game launching and installing

(This has only become a recent issue in that last week). It started off with a few of my games not launching and displaying an error message, which would direct me to do a hard reset, which would have no result, and if it did on the off chance my game would crash fairly shortly after launch

So i would uninstall and reinstall my games, which worked initially for the first few occurances, however, it turned into having to reinstall games frequently and now most of my games have extensive trouble installing (i get the installation stopped notif constantly). I've tried moving games i play the most to internal storage to see if it a external hardrive issue, thought i cant test that theory if nothing wants to move or be installed in the first place.

I contacted xbox support via phone and i was told to restart my modem. Though in my area the internet is always unstable and I dont see how it could have changed so drastically that everything is now not working.

I have had the xbox one s for 2 years now and never had an issue like this (being on the same wifi the whole time), so i dont see how it could be an internet issue.

I'm not a genius for tech but could someone please explain to me what to do, im completely lost.

I have a few questions regarding these issues you've been having with games.

- What error code/message are you getting when launching games?

- Have you already tried unplugging all external storage units and then installing games on the console's internal storage? in some instances, a corrupted/malfunctioning external hard drive can prevent a console from working correctly.

- Besides reinstalling games, the hard reset, and restarting your modem, have you tried anything else to troubleshoot this on your own?

I can't show you the error code as all the ones that weren't working I unistalled.

I have unplugged the external expansion device like u suggested, and it seems to have fixed the problem. Does that mean the expansion things is cooked and I have to get a new one then haha?

Don't restart it try to do full shutdown (not the factory one) with the game installed and launch the game and the problem should solve.

Install xbox app on your pc, launch the game using this program and everything work
