Problems with downloading games having xbox live gold

Good time of a day!

I have Xbox One and I've run into a trouble.

There is a message on your web site that now games for xbox 360 are available for xbox one, too.

But when going to a market via the stored app on xbox one, there are only games for xbox one listed.

When I try to download them via the browser (Edge), I get a message like "Available methods of payment are not registered".

I've already entwined my card with xbox live account and thus I can download games for xbox one, but for 360 - not.

For the first part of your question; I can answer definitely. Although some Xbox 360 titles are currently available for backwards compatibility they are not available for purchase directly from the Xbox One Store (on the console) at this time. Microsoft
has stated that they are working towards this but it has not yet been integrated.

To work around that you either need to purchase directly from an Xbox 360 console or purchase them from the Xbox Marketplace. Either option will cause the game to show in your ready to install list.

Regarding the error you are receiving when you are attempting to purchase from Edge; can you provide the exact error message you are receiving. Please include any error code which accompanies the message.

To download 360 games from.the we marketplace you must have an valid payment option on file

Using edge or a computer will return the same error

 

As I said, I'm using russian region options. There are no error codes I get, but this message:

"Допустимые способы оплаты не зарегистрированы". Don't know if it would be of any help to you.

 

In your original post you mentioned you have 'entwined my card with xbox live' does this mean if you check @

account.microsoft.com/.../payments

you see your credit card list as a valid payment option? The card is not expired correct?

Xbox 360 purchases on the website require a valid payment method be on file even to download free content.

EDIT: I found this page in Russian which refers explicitly to Games With Gold but will broadly apply to all purchases of free content on the website:

Its for the US, but I couldn't find a localized Russian version.

 

Under the 'Payments methods' I can see a link to add a payment method. And there are no buttons like 'change payment methods'. So, I guess, I should go to 'add a payment method', should I not?

Yes, you will need to add a payment method such as a credit card in order to make purchases of 360 titles.

Once you add the payment method you should be able to download without issue. Let me know if this fixes your problem.

I changed the method of payment and now I can purchase the game.

The problem is that it costs 800p although I have gold.

 

Because you aren't actual gold

If you used a trial card that does not count as gold you need a paid subscription

Also if you are using home gold and not the master account with the actual gold then you cannot get it

You aren't showing as gold so I'm guessing you are a sub account

Only main accounts or accounts that have an gold subscription can make Web purchase

Also trial cards only give temporary multilayer access not gold subscription or benefits
