Xbox Live is the service, they are the one's who make the rules and you're the one who tries to break them. It's your account and your behavior.

As an Ambassador or not, day after day and week after week, there are countless posts of "I got banned for no reason". And the occasional person who posts a manifesto.

If you're that passionate about it, be constructive and lead by example.

Or you can continue with "Oh but thanks for doing something useful" comments.

You're willing to do "research" by finding articles from other sites like fastcompany, theenquirer or kitguru but you don't do any research on the Ambassador program or what these forums are for. You're not doing your "cause" any justice by ranting here.

I'm sorry that you don't understand the intent of the forums. I'm trying to point out that you are decreasing the value of your point the more that you rail against others here. And increase your position as one who's spiteful and demeaning.

Let’s get something straight here that you geniuses don’t seem to be grasping. I’m not pissed that I got a communications suspension from Xbox Live. I’m pissed because of the reason that I got a communications suspension from Xbox Live. I’m pissed because
of how unapproachable Xbox support is about their enforcement team. I’m pissed about how clunky and unwieldy the enforcement appeal process is and the fact they make you basically write lines before u can even submit your appeal in that ridiculous questionnaire.
I’m pissed that the only people who have responded to any of my forum posts in an area I thought was designed for players to talk to one another is a bunch of condescending pricks who are so convinced of their own self importance that they think they know
the reasoning behind every argument they come across without even reading it and assume that the fact that I’m even writing on this forum post is just to bitch about being suspended. Well guess what geniuses. This ain’t the only place I’m posting this. I actually
used that little site u gave me with the ideas thing for Xbox and posted on that so congrats, out of all your words that you’ve crammed into this forum post I managed to use one of them that may have been helpful. Also I don’t give 2 **** about this ambassador
program of yours. I’m just of the opinion that anyone who doesn’t see how absolutely broken this system is is either worried about losing something they’ve acquired from Microsoft or is so deluded that they can’t see it. So I’m done with this post, I’m done
being talked down to by people who don’t deserve the pleasure and most of all, I’m **** done with political **** agendas pushing their way into every facet of my **** life. I’m done.

 

Xbox Support and the Xbox Forums have nothing to do with the Xbox Enforcement Team.

Since you don't like the Enforcement process, then don't break the rules that they have in place.

The way you treat others will impact how they will treat you. The name calling and derogatory remarks towards others are not going to bring anyone to listen to your issue that underlies your statements. It's users helping users here but when you attack them,
then you're not going to find much sympathy here.

It has been the rules for a very long time, maybe they are just policing it better. No point was missed, you admitted the violation, you got punished. Refrain from your choice of language and do not rise to bait messages. Simple

that my "argument" here is that I shouldn't have been banned according to the rules that Microsoft has set down. I'm going to say this very slowly and clearly and I swear if one more ffing ambassador thinks that I don't know why I was banned I'm really going
to be done. I. AM. PISSED. BECAUSE. OF. WHY. I. WAS. SUSPENDED. NOT. BECAUSE. I WAS. SUSPENDED. Now I literally cannot make that any more clearer so if you don't understand that, that's your own problem. My argument, condescending ambassador number 3, is
that the Code of Conduct that Microsoft uses is very poorly written and would only be a good document in a utopia where people online are all nice, charming and friendly. The very fact that none of you have responded to this after all this talking and going
back and forth in these **** talks we've been having has prompted my very sharp criticism of ambassadors on here as being controlled by their master in commander Microsoft. You all know that what I'm saying is right and I think that that's the very reason
that none of you are responding directly to the points in my original post. Because you know that this is monitored by your overlords and if you speak badly about Microsoft they might revoke your title or something. Every single one of you has just preached
the same thing over and over and over. He broke the rules, so he gets a punishment. Not a single one of you has even expressed the possibility that maybe, just maybe those rules are just wrong. So I'm going to give you all ONE. MORE. CHANCE. to respond
directly to the points I expressed in my original post, and not assume that I don't know why I was suspended according to the current rules of our lord and savior Microsoft. Tell me exactly why you all think that these rules are beyond reproach and should
never be changed and can't be taken advantage of by anyone using the service and that there is open communication between Microsoft and it's player base when these things happen.

In order to MAKE Xbox Live a charming and friendly community, they have set up the rules called the Code of Conduct to BE ABLE TO enforce these rules. They are rules that tell people what NOT to do for whatever reason. If you get
harassed, report the person and let the Enforcement Team do their job to punish the person that harassed you. Because there EXISTS a rule that prohibits harassment, the Enforcement team is allowed to act on people that break these rules.

If you swear back, then YOU are ALSO breaking the rules and will be punished for it.

Without these rules, the person that harasses you, can't get punished.

Let's make an analogy:

Let's say you're driving your car peacefully, when a rowdy driver starts to tailgate you. You become agitated and step on the accelerator to get away from that guy, but as bad luck has it, you are being caught in a speed trap. You get a speeding ticket with
a photo proof showing that you were driving the car, and that you were driving above the speed limit.

The police won't care either when you tell them "But I was only going so fast, because that person behind me tailgated me".

If you had obeyed the traffic laws, the person tailgating you would have been caught for not keeping a safety distance. But as the evidence shows, YOU were the one driving above the speed limit.

The same is true for the Enforcement team.

If you get harassed, then report the harassment, so the Enforcement Team can do their job and punish the person that did you wrong. As you can see for yourself, the Enforcement Team DOES act on reports and suspends people breaking the rules. So the other
person gets suspended, and you aren't bothered by that person anymore.

However, if you feel the need to take matters into your own hand, and breaking the rules in doing so, then it's not the fault of the rules.

Or would you say "Traffic laws and speed limits are utopic and useless, because people speed anyways"? Or "We don't need a law that forbids stealing, because that robber that broke into my house and stole my plasma TV didn't care about that law".

Without the law, the police couldn't punish the person that stole your TV. True, you would be able to just climb into your neighbors house and steal their TV, as there would be no law against that. But having no law against stealing would then lead to chaos,
as everyone would simply take another person's stuff.

Therefore, a law is in place to forbid people from stealing other people's stuff, so the police can arrest burglars that steal other people's stuff.

It's the same with the Xbox Live Code of Conduct. It doesn't matter if you think the rule is stupid because people will still swear. The rules are there so the Enforcement Team can tell a person: "You violated the rules by doing this, and because we told
you about the rules before, and you broke them, you can now be punished for doing so."

The rules were shown to you when you signed up for Xbox Live, and you agreed to live by these rules when you joined Xbox Live.
