    Problems with credit card verification


    I'm having problems putting in my new card for verification on my daughters Xbox 360. The year you have on there does not go higher than 2020. We got a new card and the year is higher than 2020.

    Problems Buying Online

    I used to get an error code when I wished to buy but then I found out that it was because of some issue with my credit card. I contacted my credit card company and they did an online verification and then I was able to make my purchase.

    It might be something to do with Address verification? I ordered 5 no problem. The address on my Ebay, Paypal and card all match

    I am having a similar issue.. I'm trying to add points and all 3 credit cards I'm entering are failing(System can't find the CVV code). I've tried both my cards and my wife's. There appears to be a problem with the Credit Card verification system.

    Thanks for the response. I was able to get my son back on yesterday, so everything is working again. My issue is having to pay again, even if it's only 50 cents. I verified my age with them once when I set up the account, I shouldn't of had to do it a second
    time just because they changed their terms and conditions. I see a lot of complaints about this and I hope Microsoft does the correct thing and refunds that money.

    I know how frustrating this must feel to have to pay the 50cents again and again. Recently the Terms of Use have been updated and since they were updated the adult account has to approve of it as well. It should only be done one time, and once you do it
    you give your child permission to use Xbox live.

    what I recommend is to have your son sign in on to
    https://account.live.com     and once he signs in it should prompt you to verify of course with the credit card. once it is done through this website there is no way it should keep asking you again and your son will have permission to access live. oh and don't
    worry your card will not be kept on file, it is only used one time to verify that you are an adult.
