    Have you checked the Live Status in case there is an issue with it causing it? I have popped the link below for that.

    https://support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status

    If thats all fine then try the following:

    Go to the Services and subscriptions page for your account:https://account.microsoft.com/services

    Sign in and locate the text to turn auto-renew either on or off for your existing Xbox subscriptions, such as Xbox Game Pass or Xbox Live Gold.

    If you have auto-renew enabled, you'll need to go to where it says Manage for each subscription and then select Turn off auto-renew. After that, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

    If you have auto-renew disabled, you'll need to select Turn on auto-renew. After that, follow the on-screen steps to complete the process.

    After you've changed your auto-renew setting, try to sign in to your Xbox 360 or an Xbox 360 game via backward compatibility again.

    Once you've successfully signed in, go through these steps again to change your auto-renew setting back to how you previously had it set, based on your preference.
