Problems with Cortana

ever since I activated the curtana feature she constantly tells me theres no internet or there's bandwidth issues and is thus unable to fulfill her requested action.

it is not a constant issue but an intermittent one. the internet is fine I'll be using it when she says there are issues and the console never has an issue when I test it's network connection.

anyone having similar issues and even better a fix for this issue? Cortana is much better then the old voice recognition system for xbox one, but this issue crops up enough that I'm thinking of going back to the old way.

It wouldn't be as big of an issue if I didn't run live tv through the system and so I use her constantly to change the channel and to turn the system off

Cortana is a nuisance

After the latest updates I have problems with Cortana . It is active while I'm playing. Blocking me while playing . This annoyance of Cortana is a continuous one and I can not play . Cortana is not activated by me, but she does it all by myself . Resolve

i switched to Xbox instead of Cortana and so far is been better. I don't know how often the Xbox voice assistant uses the internet to verify info. But just as usual the Cortana version is superior in terms of understanding me but Xbox is much quicker to
accept commands than Cortana.

So if its just Cortana and my internet and regular Xbox assistant work fine what can I do? I'd rather use Cortana but its unusable at this point

Cortana uses internet to search for anything you ask that it might need the internet to find. Things like sports scores, weather information and other searches. You can find more about the recommended network stats for Xbox Live

Cortana is still in beta try using Cortana via mic it should work just fine had the same problem with my kinect

Update: I tried switching to Cortana and saying "Hey Cortana, Xbox On," "Hey Cortana, turn on," and "Hey Cortana, turn the xbox on" several times and none of those commands worked. They used to work perfectly with Cortana on my old Xbox.

At this point, I think there is either something wrong with my machine or that the Xbox One S does not support "Xbox On" commands. I think maybe the Kinect microphone is not active when the Xbox is off. Perhaps a problem with the implementation of the USB
port or the Kinect Adaptor.
